Movement or coordination affected in the legs to a moderate degree.

Moderately affected movement and coordination in one lower leg.

The absence of both arms.

The movement in one arm affected to a high degree.

The absence of one forearm.

Movement moderately affected in one arm and one leg on the same side.

 


To adjust for the difference in the classes, Cross-Country skiers race using a factored clock, meaning it runs at different speeds – those with lower function race against a slower clock. Higher function against a faster clock.

The fastest adjusted finish time wins the race.
