H1-4

Movement and coordination moderately affected in the mid-trunk and legs.

Movement in the lower trunk and legs affected to a high degree.

Movement highly affected in the body below the chest and in the legs.

Movement and coordination affected to a high degree on one side of the body, one arm and both legs.

Absence of legs from mid-thigh.

H1-4 is for hand-cyclists that have moderate to highly affected movement in the trunk and legs or the absence of limbs.

For some, power is transmitted to the bike asymmetrically but all are able to maintain a good even speed.

A time factoring system is used where the clock runs slowest for H1’s, faster for H2’s and faster again for H3's and H4's.
