TT1 is for wheelchair players with movement affected to a high degree in the trunk and legs and to a moderate level in the shoulders and arms.

With Wheelchair brakes locked-on throughout play, these players hold on to the wheel rim for balance and push their body back to upright using their elbows. Their bats are strapped to the hand to assist with grip and control.
