A visual impairment, able to see a distance approximately five metres.

Moderate visual impairment, able to see approximately one metre.

 


VI2 is for surfers who can see between 1 to 5 metres in distance and have a field of vision to a maximum of forty degrees.

They surf standing and may optionally have a guide verbally directing them as the wave approaches and once they are riding.
