F64 (F43/44/62/64)

Moderately affected movement and coordination in both lower legs.

Moderately affected movement and coordination in one lower leg.

Absence of both legs below the knee.

Absence of one leg below the knee.

 

F64 is for field athletes with moderately affected movement in one or both lower legs or the absence of legs below the knee.

These athletes have to adjust for asymmetric balance; in the run-up for javelin, and across the throwing circle in shot and discus.


 Athletics F64 (F43/44/62/64) is a competition class at the Paris 2024 Paralympics
