Movement in the lower trunk and legs affected to a high degree.

The absence of one arm and one leg on opposite sides.

Movement in the body and arms mildly affected, with the legs moderately affected.

Movement and coordination moderately affected down one side.

The absence of one leg.

Movement or coordination mildly affected throughout the whole body.

Movement of the hip joint moderately affected.

The absence of both lower legs.

 


C1-3 riders include those with coordination and movement affected from a high to low level and various forms degrees of limb absence.

Riders across these classes can race using a time factoring system where the clock runs slowest for C1’s, slightly faster for C2’s and faster again for C3’s.
