Movement affected to a high degree in the body and legs, mildly affected in the arms with hand grip and control highly affected.

Movement affected to a high degree in the trunk, legs and hands with movement moderately affected in the arms.

 

SB2 is for breaststroke swimmers with highly affected co-ordination in the trunk, legs and hands, and low reduction in function of the arms, or for those who have a similar impairment but with moderately affected arms.

These swimmers move through the water using power generated mostly by their forearms and shoulders.
