The absence of one arm and one leg on the same side.

 

S6 is for swimmers with co-ordination moderately affected on one side, highly affected in the lower trunk and legs, those with short stature, or the absence of limbs.

These swimmers have difficulty holding good body position or swimming straight, through the water.
