Movement or coordination highly affected throughout the trunk and legs with the arms mildly affected and grip moderately affected in the hands.

 

T52 is for wheelchair track athletes who have movement affected to a high degree in the trunk and legs, with a low level in the arms and shoulders.

These athletes generate forward power by primarily using their biceps to pull the wheelchair rims up, rather than push down.
