Movement in both legs affected to a high degree.

Movement highly affected in the mid-trunk and legs.

Absence of legs just above the knee.

Absence of one lower leg from the knee.

 

T54 is for wheelchair track athletes who have full function in their body with moderately or highly affected movement in the legs or the absence of limbs.

All generate power through the full range of body and arm movement, the legs play no part in racing.
