Movement mildly affected in the trunk and arms and highly affected in the legs.

Movement moderately affected in the arms and highly affected in the legs.

Movement moderately affected in the trunk from the chest and also in the hands, with movement in the legs highly affected.

 

T34 is for wheelchair track athletes with movement affected to a low degree in the trunk and arms, or to a moderate degree in the trunk and arms. All have a high level of impairment affecting the legs.

These athletes have to compensate for the reduced co-ordination of muscle movements.
